Labor Day Parade
Walk with us in the Champaign Labor Day Parade!
Parade takes place in downtown Champaign, staging is at the corner of Chestnut & Main St. Staging begins at 10am, and the parade starts at 11am. We will provide signs and candy, but locals are encouraged to bring their own signs and freebies! Is your local participating in a different Labor Day Parade? Share the photos with us!

Join fellow local presidents for an intimate, closed-door gathering where we can share pressing workplace issues, membership engagement, & best practices for running an effective local union. Please join us for this training to learn everything necessary to conduct both region-wide and local union elections, including the new region electronic voting process!
School Board Elections Training: Part 1
This two-part training helps local leaders understand how to get involved in school board elections. The first session will focuses on building a strong campaign foundation before the race begins.

In this second session, we will cover where to look for good contract language and why it is good. Please brign your contracts to this session!

This session is all about money. It is often issue #1 for your members, and in this training we will look at all forms of compensation.
